In the Charlotte area, we are finally starting to feel fall temperatures in the air, see pumpkin-spice everything in stores, and leaves beginning to change colors. Take advantage of this time with your friends and family by visiting local farms and experiencing their fall traditions. From your traditional tractor rides and pumpkin patches to scary, haunted trails, you won’t want to miss all that the Carolinas have to offer this time of the year!
Carrigan Farms
This 5th-generation family farm is home to an authentic hayride and pumpkin picking experience. The patch is open every day in October. Along with the holistic experience, Carrigan Farms also offers a haunted trail notably named “Scarrigan Farms” and not intended for children under 12 - it is the scariest trail in the region. Open select nights in October, Scarrigan Farms requires a reservation as does their pumpkin patch experience.
